The Carucel™ network is a new, revolutionary technology that combines the advantages of cellular and cordless technologies and enables user mobility at high vehicular speeds (100++ m.p.h., e.g. GSM) through very small cells (100 ft. radius, e.g. DECT).

The Carucel inventions are patented in the United States (US patents  # s 7221904, 5729826 and 6026277 and Patent pending # 20070178832.

These inventions are a major step towards advancing the present state-of-the art of wireless mobile communications, similar to the c
ellular advancement of mobile radio communications almost two decades ago. The highlights and the benefits of these inventions are listed below:

  • The FCC  approved the unlicensed use of 7 gigahertz of contiguous radio frequency spectrum in 60 gigahertz millimeter wave range.  The 60 gigahertz radio spectrum is  characterized by very short distance, high loss, line of sight propagation, and low refraction, imposes small cell network topology.

  • The Carucel™ network infrastructure is ideal for the effective utilization of 60 gigahertz radio spectrum, making the whole 7 gigahertz of bandwidth reusable in every small cell by users moving at high vehicular speeds.

  • The Carucel™ network infrastructure provides fourth generation (4G) capabilities  (i.e. a low cost, wide bandwidth service, comparable to wire-line, with almost unlimited call capacity).  At expressway vehicular speeds, it enables the use of compact, low  power, wireless, portable communicators with broadband (20 Mbps/channel) and multimedia capabilities.

  • The Carucel™ network infrastructure is especially advantageous in densely populated metropolitan areas with high telecommunications traffic demand.  Users are provided access to the same services and information available to them at their home or office (i.e., Internet and Intranet) while commuting in expressway traffic, resulting in high system usage.  "Dead time" becomes productive time.

  • The immense revenue generated from the tremendous usage of premium services, at a user cost per minute comparable to a cellular voice call, will, in a short time, pay for the network infrastructure cost and result in considerable profits.

  • Very low radio signal power levels, which permit reliable communication, reduce any potential health hazard, thus minimizing chances of personal injury claims.
